Mr. Carstensen has been with MSC Engineers, Inc. since 2016 when he relocated with his family to the Salem area from Albuquerque, NM.  Mr. Carstensen is skilled in designing steel and concrete structures and learned his trade through the design and detailing of healthcare and educational facilities throughout New Mexico.  He is an adept structural modeler and embraces challenging, complicated, projects.  His former experience working as an internal consultant for a large architectural firm has taught him how to quickly adapt to changing client needs and project demands.
