The new Union Gospel Mission building in Salem, Oregon is 3-stories tall with a steel frame structure. The roof is comprised of metal decking on steel bar-joists and the floors are comprised of concrete over metal deck supported on composite steel beams. The lateral system is Special Concentric Braced Frames (SCBF) which are highlighted by the architect on the interior. Attached to the main building is chapel with a vaulted roof made from large glulam beams and mass-plywood panels (MPP).

New single-story steel frame office structure is aimed to provide 31,500 sq ft of space for administration purposes for Marion County. The structure is framed with long-span steel joists atop steel beams and columns with bypass light gauge steel shear walls allowing for an open space layout. The focal features of this structure are the three towers with ribbon windows bringing natural daylight throughout the space.

This approximate 6,300 SF two story wood framed structure was built to house offices, a meeting, and a classroom.  Sloped roof is of trusses and the low slope roof is of stick framing.  As with most buildings on the Corban site, this was partially embedded into the hillside with some short retaining walls and the low side was built up with fill.

This is a single story 23,800 SF auto dealership that includes a showroom, offices, and maintenance facilities and has a 3,400 SF parts mezzanine.  The structure is a concrete tilt panel building with a steel girder and bar joist roof and a light gauge framed mezzanine structure.

The Garmin AT Building is a 66,500 SF two story building housing engineering offices, conference rooms, and a call center.  It is constructed of steel framing with brace frames to resist seismic forces, a concrete slab on metal deck second floor, and a bar joist roof system.

This is a new 47,000 sq. feet, 4 story, office/retail/classroom building with a large auditorium gathering space.  The structural system consists of a combination of steel framing and CMU bearing walls with a lateral system consisting of a combination of moment frames, and CMU shearwalls. A prayer center on the 4th floor overlooks downtown Salem with floor-to-ceiling glazing.

New 53,560 sq. ft. mixed use building intended to anchor the north quadrant of the campus.  The northern half of the building houses the Machining workspace with a 40 foot clerestory space constructed of steel framing.  The southern half comprises classroom and support space for the Engineering and Drafting Departments.  The facility emphasizes passive solar heating and cooling utilizing cast-in-place concrete walls and composite concrete floor and roof slabs on steel framing. The structural lateral resisting system consists of a combination of concentric brace frames and special moment frames.  It was built to house the College’s machining, engineering, and drafting programs.
