St. Innocent Winery

St. Innocent winery is located in the hills south of Salem, Oregon. The winery building is carved into the side of the hill and supported by concrete retaining walls on all sides. The main floor is comprised of concrete over metal deck supported on custom steel bar joists with a curved bottom chord. The enclosed space is used for barrel storage and the curved structure mirrors the hoops on the wine barrels. The building above is a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) and required careful coordination between the architect, engineer, and contractor to complete.
